James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, has confirmed that one character will die in the upcoming movie. This will be Gunn’s third time as the director of the franchise.  Before the project goes on the floor, he is helming DCEU’s The Suicide Squad which has to be completed after which he will begin the third installment of the Chris Pratt starrer.

While the film is yet to roll, James Gunn continues to tease the fans what they can expect with the upcoming MCU film. Responding to a fan during Instagram Q&A who asked if someone will die in the movie, Gunn replied, “Yes.

Marvel Studios is yet to announce the release date of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The film stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill / Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis.
