To contain the spread of Coronavirus, India is presently under a lock-down that has been extended till 3rd May. In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, actor Arjun Kapoor lauded the Government for all the timely preventive measures that they had taken.
“I think our Government has done a very good job. Best possible, in this situation, with this kind of population, with the unfortunate amount of gossip-mongering, lack of information and of course education, where we lack sometimes,” Arjun said, also emphasising on how basic manners and hygienic practices will be hopefully taken more seriously now.
“Spitting has been banned. Wearing a mask is mandatory. In our country, I feel this will bring about a basic understanding on how to behave as people in public also. I think that was much needed because hygiene, civic sense etc. I don’t know about a silver lining because I don’t know when will this get over, but we will come out of it. As Indians, we will definitely come out much better,” he added.
Let’s hope all of it comes true soon!
Arjun’s last release was Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat. He will be next seen in Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
